reception is the finale, the climax of that day. It is a chance to meet
with family and friends and interact with the guests, so it is important
that the entertainment provided not only compliments, but enhances the
occasion.
You want the evening
to flow in a professional manner, from the first dance right through
to the end of the night. You want a chance to relax and unwind after
the formalities of the day, and so you should, it's been your day and
now it's your night. You don't want to be worried if the disco or band
will turn up on time or if the buffet will be served at nine or nine
thirty, or the time of the first dance, or if the DJ will remember to
play that special song for aunty Jean, it's your night, so relax and
let us handle it all for you.
As

select to have a formal or informal reception, traditional or contemporary,

From planning the flow of the evening reception right through to the
end of the night, you can count on us to make it perfect.
With our personal touch, our professional sound and lighting systems,
and our large music collections, we will make your wedding reception
the success it should be. Our DJ will coordinate all activities with
the other members of the parties professional team (i.e., caterers,
video, photographer) to ensure that your reception flows smoothly and
all of your memories are caught on film.
If required, our
DJ will announce all of the special ceremonies (grand entrance, first
dance, cake-cutting, father/daughter dance, buffet etc.) that you choose
to incorporate into your evening reception.
At
the start of the evening as your guests are arriving we will play a
selection of background music, giving you a chance to greet your guests
and allowing them to comfortably interact without having to talk above
the volume of the music (the music is also turned down to a background
level during the buffet).
The evening will
begin with the traditional first dance of the Bride and Groom then the
father/daughter, mother/son dances, followed by a few slow dances for
the bridal party and guests. All of these will have been carefully selected
by yourself and your partner prior to the evenings reception.
Then
the party moves into full swing
With a music collection
spanning over 50 years, we can cater for most tastes, be it 60's, 70's,
80's, R&B, Country, Rock'n'Roll, Dance, or the latest chart hits,
we constantly "read the crowd" and adjust our music and guest
interaction accordingly. With your approval, we will gladly accept appropriate
requests from your guests both on the night and in advance. We can also
(at your option) include some Ceilidh or traditional Scottish dancing.
All of this is done without taking the spotlight away from the Bride
and Groom. Our goal is to create and maintain a fun party atmosphere
while recognising that you are the true star of the event.
We
give you that personal one-on-one service you deserve, and will work
with you to design your reception based on your ideas and personal preferences,
from selecting the type of entertainment you require to the style of
music you wish to have played. You tell us what you do and don't want.
We will assist you in choosing the perfect music arrangements, selecting
the proper traditions or customs and planning the proper flow of events
throughout your reception.
From
grand entrance right through to the very last dance, yours will be a
party to remember, and we will be right there to make it perfect. The
entire reception will reflect your own style and will be a most memorable
occasion, enjoyable to all who attend.
